Inert Gas Suppression System

An Inert Gas Suppression System is a clean agent fire suppression solution that extinguishes fire by reducing oxygen concentration to a level that can no longer support combustion — while remaining safe for human occupancy.

MEFS Engineering designs, supplies, installs, and maintains inert gas suppression systems fully compliant with NFPA 2001, ISO 14520, and international fire safety standards.

Types of Inert Gas Agents

IG-01 — Argon

100% pure Argon. Naturally occurring with zero ODP and zero GWP — the purest suppression agent available.

IG-55 — Argonite

50% Nitrogen + 50% Argon. A balanced, highly effective blend that is completely environmentally neutral.

IG-541 — Inergen

52% N₂ + 40% Ar + 8% CO₂. The CO₂ stimulates faster breathing, helping occupants absorb oxygen efficiently during evacuation.

IG-100 — Nitrogen

100% pure Nitrogen. Cost-effective, widely available, and completely safe for the environment.
