Fire Alarm System

A Fire Alarm System is a critical life-safety solution designed to detect the presence of fire, smoke, or heat at the earliest possible stage and alert occupants to evacuate safely while notifying emergency responders. As a first line of defense against fire hazards, a well-designed fire alarm system is essential for every residential, commercial, and industrial facility.

MEFS Engineering provides end-to-end fire alarm solutions — from design and supply to installation, commissioning, and annual maintenance — ensuring full compliance with National Building Code (NBC), NFPA 72, and IS 2189 standards.

Conventional Fire Alarm System

Ideal for small to medium-sized applications. Detectors and call points are grouped into zones, and when triggered, the control panel identifies the zone where the alarm originated. Simple, cost-effective, and reliable for straightforward building layouts.

Addressable Fire Alarm System

Designed for large and complex facilities. Each detector and device has a unique address, allowing the control panel to pinpoint the exact location of the alarm. Features graphical floor plan representation and has the capability to integrate and control other building systems such as air conditioning, lifts, and access control in case of an emergency.
